After graduating in Philosophy from the University of Bologna, he began working as a freelance Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) and post-production colorist within the MDP team. In 2014, together with Leonardo Alberto Moschetta, he co-founded the post-production company Free U.
After completing his studies in Florence, Samuele began his professional career in the audiovisual industry, specializing as a camera assistant, focus puller, and camera operator.
Over the past ten years, he has worked on a wide range of productions, collaborating on projects across advertising, fashion, short films, feature films, and live events.
Through these experiences, he has developed strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach to working on set, and a keen eye for visual composition. He approaches every project with precision, reliability, and attention to detail, helping bring the creative vision of directors and cinematographers to life.
Emanuele graduated in Film History from the DAMS program in Florence in 2007 and later earned an MFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.
He began his career as a stereoscopic (3D) camera technician before moving into the role of camera assistant, working on both national and international productions across digital and film formats.

Dopo aver completato la sua formazione a Firenze ha iniziato un percorso professionale nell’audiovisivo specializzandosi nel ruolo di assistente operatore , focus puller e operatore di macchina.
Negli ultimi dieci anni ha lavorato su una vasta gamma di set, collaborando a produzioni di diversa natura: pubblicità, moda, cortometraggi, film ed eventi live.
Grazie a queste esperienze ha sviluppato una solida conoscenza tecnica, un forte senso della collaborazione sul set e un’occhio attento alla composizione visiva. Affronta ogni progetto con precisione, affidabilità e attenzione ai dettagli, contribuendo a portare in vita la visione creativa del regista e del direttore della fotografia.
Si laurea in Storia del cinema presso il DAMS di Firenze nel 2007 e consegue un MFA in Filmmaking alla New York Film Academy a Los Angeles.
Lavora inizialmente come tecnico della strumentazione stereoscopica (3D) per poi diventare Assistente operatore e lavorare su produzioni nazionali ed estere sia in digitale che in pellicola.

Electrician and lighting designer with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his career in theater in 2000, later working at major live events, concerts, and conferences. Since 2008, he has returned to the theater on a permanent basis, working on operas, ballets, and various other shows. Over the years, he has transferred the skills he gained on stage to the film and television industries, bringing a unique technical background, particularly in the use of projectors and DMX protocols, which are increasingly used on sets today.
He has nearly thirty years of experience in the field and is credited for his work in the technical departments of several films (including Happy as Lazzaro, The Intruder, Le Pupille, Le Meraviglie). He is one of the founders and director of Full Movie S.r.l.
He has crossed the visual imaginary as a space of continuous research, cultivating a radical curiosity for the languages of light, of optics and of technologies applied to the image, from robotics to the most advanced forms of digital experimentation.
This approach has given shape to a career of international relevance. He has collaborated with authors like Vittorio Storaro, Bernardo Bertolucci and Ermanno Olmi, maturing a solid experience on the sets of Hollywood and consolidating a path of excellence in the global cinematographic production.
Inventor, technologist, director, director of photography and marketing manager, he operates in a transversal way among art, industry and market. As a director he has signed hundreds of productions for iconic brands – among which Fiat, Lancia, Iveco, Costa Crociere, Prada, Pirelli, Maserati, BMW, Mini and the Teatro alla Scala – affirming himself as a figure of reference in the dialogue between cinema and innovation.
In the course of his career he has received the International Emma Award (1995) for the direction and the screenplay of Blindness (Interactive Movie / Filmgame), the Nastro d’Argento (2005) for Best Photography and the David di Donatello (2005) for Digital Supervisor and Visual Special Effects of Dopo Mezzanotte. He has been moreover nominated to the David di Donatello as Director of Photography for Dopo Mezzanotte (2005) and for the Digital Special Effects of La luna su Torino (2013/2014).
A director of photography with a long experience in the audiovisual and cinematographic sector. In the course of his career he has developed a strong competence in the use of light, of composition and of the visual language, working among sets, productions, authorial projects and educational paths. His professional research concentrates on the relationship between technique and narrative sensitivity: for him cinematographic photography is not only construction of the image, but an instrument capable of translating the dramaturgical intentions into emotions and atmospheres. The light, the camera movement, the optics and the management of the cinematographic space become thus fundamental elements to give identity to a story. Next to the activity on the set, David Becheri dedicates himself also to training, transmitting to the students not only technical competences, but also a conscious, practical and human approach to the cinematographic work. His didactics puts at the center the direct experience, the comparison with professionals of the sector and the concrete knowledge of the roles, of the dynamics and of the responsibilities of a crew.

Un direttore della fotografia con una lunga esperienza nel settore audiovisivo e cinematografico. Nel corso della sua carriera ha sviluppato una forte competenza nell’uso della luce, della composizione e del linguaggio visivo, lavorando tra set, produzioni, progetti autoriali e percorsi didattici. La sua ricerca professionale si concentra sul rapporto tra tecnica e sensibilità narrativa: per lui la fotografia cinematografica non è soltanto costruzione dell’immagine, ma uno strumento capace di tradurre le intenzioni drammaturgiche in emozioni e atmosfere. La luce, il movimento di macchina, le ottiche e la gestione dello spazio cinematografico diventano così elementi fondamentali per dare identità a una storia. Accanto all’attività sul set, David Becheri si dedica anche alla formazione, trasmettendo
agli allievi non solo competenze tecniche, ma anche un approccio consapevole, pratico e
umano al lavoro cinematografico. La sua didattica mette al centro l’esperienza diretta, il
confronto con professionisti del settore e la conoscenza concreta dei ruoli, delle dinamiche
e delle responsabilità di una troupe.
È ideatore del progetto MovieLab, un percorso professionalizzante dedicato alla direzione
della fotografia, nato con l’obiettivo di avvicinare gli studenti al lavoro reale del set
attraverso l’utilizzo di attrezzature
Cinefila fin da bambina, ha avuto la fortuna di poter trasformare la sua passione in una
professione. Da venti anni collabora come aiuto regia con produzioni italiane e straniere su
progetti di ogni genere (lungometraggi, documentari, serie, pubblicità, videoclip), cercando
di portare l’ordine nel caos!
L’organizzazione di una produzione – grande o piccola che sia – è una macchina molto
complessa e le sfide sono continue, soprattutto sul set. Ma, come direbbe il giovane
Frankenstein: SI – PUO’ – FARE!
Elettricista e datore luci con oltre 20 anni di esperienza nel settore dello spettacolo. Inizia la sua carriera in teatro nel 2000, per poi lavorare in importanti eventi live, concerti e conferenze. Dal 2008 rientra stabilmente in teatro occupandosi di opere, balletti, e spettacoli di vario genere. Nel corso degli anni trasferisce le competenze maturate sul palco nel settore cinematografico e televisivo, portando un bagaglio tecnico unico, in particolare nell’utilizzo dei proiettori e dei protocolli DMX, oggi sempre più presenti sui Set.
Ha alle spalle quasi trent’anni di esperienza sul campo ed è accreditato per il suo
lavoro nei reparti tecnici in diverse opere cinematografiche (tra cui Lazzaro Felice, L’intrusa, Le
Pupille, Le Meraviglie) è tra i fondatori e amministratore di Full Movie S.r.l.
Macchinista con esperienza ventennale in ambito cinematografico e pubblicitario.
Forma la sua figura professionale vivendo e lavorando a Roma per poi approfondire ed
indagare il mestiere su scala nazionale spostando la base di partenza in Toscana.
