A course between theory, practice and professionals of the cinema
Theoretical lessons, practical laboratories and meetings with active professionals in the cinematographic sector, among which directors, assistant directors, directors of photography, focus pullers, camera operators, video-assists, key grips, gaffers, data managers, DITs and colorists.
The lessons will take place in the spaces of the Rental Full Movie, besides the possibility to use all the equipment of the rental and the sound stage the students will have the opportunity to observe from the inside the life of a reality that operates every day on the sets of the territory.
To whom the course is addressed
The course is addressed to neophytes, photographers, videomakers and cinematographic workers who intend to expand or specialize their own training in the photography department.
The use of latest generation equipment and the direct comparison with active professionals in the sector will make the course useful also for students who have already matured work experiences in the photographic or video field and desire to deepen the specific competences of the cinematographic language.
Highlight of the course
Fundamental principles
The fundamental principle of the course is the professionalization of the student with focus on the knowledge of the different professional figures of the photography department, to their operative role on the set and to the team work necessary to the realization of the cinematographic image.
Objectives
The objective is to allow the students, at the end of the path, to present themselves on a set with solid technical competences, awareness of the roles and of the dynamics of production.
External experience
In program there will be 3 days in location, where it will be taught to make technical and artistic inspections and to prepare correctly the material lists, two days of filming in location where the students will put in practice the techniques learned during the preceding months.

All the practical activities will be carried out using equipment of professional level, among which:

With the objective to allow the students to confront themselves right away with the instruments and the real dynamics of the contemporary cinematographic set.
